I am, Mr. Salem Mahmoud Beydoun, O.S.K, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius in Lebanon.

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Honorary Consulate.

The core mission of the Honorary Consulate is to:

  • enhance the Bilateral Relations between Mauritius and Lebanon
  • promote the welfare of and provide consular services to the Mauritian community living in Lebanon
  • foster trade and investment as well as tourism between Mauritius and Lebanon
  • facilitate cultural, commercial, educational, social, scientific and sports exchanges between Mauritius and Lebanon
  • provide information on passport, visas and other issues of interest based on current regulations

Procedures for visa applications

(1) DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR THE VISA TO MAURITIUS

For Tourism Purpose

  1. Hotel Confirmation
  2. Airline Ticket
  3. Recent Bank Statement(Less than 3 months from date of application)
  4. One photo
  5. Copy of passport
  6. Application form
  7. Non-refundable visa processing fee of EGP 100 per application

For Business Purpose

  1. Invitation letter from Mauritius
  2. Sponsorship letter from the company in Egypt
  3. Hotel Confirmation
  4. Airline Ticket
  5. One photo
  6. Copy of passport
  7. Application form
  8. Non-refundable visa processing fee of EGP 100 per application.

WORKING HOURS

  • Visa section opens everyday from 9.00 to 16.00 except Friday and Saturday.
  • Visas will be delivered on Mondays and Thursdays only , except in exceptional circumstances.
  • Visa processing will take at least 1 week.
  • Legalization department works everyday from 9.00 to 16.00
  • Legalization fees = 100 Egyptian Pounds.
